Cockeyed Rear end
87 300TD, the back axle appears to be cockeyed. the Drivers side appears to be a little forward then the other side, as a side note the same side seems to be eating the brake rotor which was mistaken for the other side.... any ideas?

A rear wheel alignment may be in order. Some rear end components may need to be replaced too, namely the rear differential mount and rear subframe bushings.

Replacing the rear mount and bushings may be expensive if you can't do them yourself. But you won't know if they need work until you take a look. You may be able to get those rear wheels aligned w/o work if they're in good condition.

There are rubber bushes in linkages on the 124 chassis which give out at fairly low mileage (100K or so). They are not too difficult to change.
