Anyone looking for a good 2.5 turbo motor
I thought I would pass this along since I have decided against it. I had a look at this motor with an eye to putting it in my 87 190D but it was not a close enough match for my liking. It is in an absolutley mint 90 300D It has 218K (130K miles) on it and is spotless, no leaks. Starts right up at 30 Deg F & sounds very solid. The wrecker is called Ace German and is in Burnaby BC. I had talked the owner down to the $2000 CDN figure including most of the external stuff, starter etc so that is the range. Maybe someone could use it . Cheers Dan
