No DIY projects for me today!

Here in Central VA we had about a foot of snow dumped on us over the weekend. Guess that vacuum issue will have to wait a while!

Yeah, I know, what you mean. Friday NIGHT, we got about an inch of ice. I took one look at Chameleon and said, it would take me an hour to get the driver's door open --- no electricity available where car is parked.

People that live with cold and snow laugh at what we consider severe. No school when it MIGHT snow, everyone to Krogers for bread & milk. Such is life. I'll never move back north.

On Friday I drove to Syracuse. I did not drive my car for an entire week.

So when I went to start her up I was having this low dull grown when the starter started to spin. Then she fired up and I had a rough idle. So I reached in to feather the accelerator and plump. She died off.

Ok so I do multiple glow cycles. I think I spent about 2 minutes doing glow cycles.

Sure enough that did the trick. Granted the temperature when I left was 5 degrees.

When I went to start my car yesterday I did a single glow cycle and wroom the car started right up. This was after sitting the entire night outside in the cold. I'm not sure what's going on

It's a heat wave right now at 15 degrees.

We normally don't get snow around here. I'm really afraid to go out - not from the road conditions, but from the people who don't know how to drive in it!

The few plow trucks that are down here, well, I'm sure they've been running nonstop for quite some time

It is only 42 here this morning, I sure hope it warms up. When I miss the snow I drive for an hour to the mountains.

Thanks for the picture of your MB covered in snow.
