One other thing to check is that all the slider pins are moving freely. I know on mine, one of them is starting to catch and it is causing the caliper to hang a bit and makes noise. If I hit the brake just a tad harder than a normal stop, it stops it for a while. One of these days I'll get new rubber boots for the pins and clean them up, relube and put back together.
