I have pictures, but I'm not coping well yet. I can't put something in the garage in its place right now. It seems wrong.

Wow, that's a little bit shocking.

Can't imagine how you feel right now, it's gotta be a little odd not having it in the garage any more.

Just don't sell the SL or I'll fly out there and slap you.

That has to be the driest joke that I have ever laughed at.

I would turn down 100k for the SL. Seriously.

We'll talk at a million. It would have to be life changing money to deprive me of my life changing car.

I'd give up the keys to mine instantly for 15k or so.

Must be nice to be able to refuse 100k+

It isn't "nice", it's personal. A family heirloom.

Don't know if I would say sadly is the right word, but I sadly have two of those!

I hope you find another like OT, he was a good little car.

I have 2 other cars that can fill the void of OT. My wagon is proving to be my favored daily driver, and the C36 is my pampered fair weather driver. I'm also driving the crap out of the new Miata, but that's Julie's driver as soon as she masters the stick shift.

Exactly ... there are some things you just don't sell at any price. I'm the same way about Bodhi. I could buy a pretty cool car with $100,000, but I couldn't buy a car that's tied into memories I had when I was 5, or one that drove me to college and back, or got me through the Pa. mountain winters at my first job.

I guess it's time to start searching craigslist again for that 123 diesel. It's funny how these old cars always come with stories

So why did you sell it? It seems you haven't given us a straight answer.

I couldn't sell either of my cars.

The w123 is my dream car (i drove a ****ty 123 that saved my life and the universe gave me a near mint car of the same color combo to replace it) and the 126 has to much blood, sweat, frustration, money, incredible memories and epic road trips to ever back stab it it like that (or maybe oil cooler line stab).

Your car also had the second prettiest w123 color imo
