Where can I purchase matching (mb blue) carpet? I need a piece that covers my rear cargo area where it attaches to the large storage compartment that hides the jack. I took a battery to the store and it spilled some water and melted an area of carpet

I'm stupid.

Don't neglect your local "automotive dismantling and recycling center" aka "junkyard".
You KNOW it'll be oem if you can find it.

holy ***** that's expensive. All i need is a about a 4x4? piece to cover that hatch in the rear. i wonder if i can order just scrap material in that size?

Keep your eyes on some of the sellers here in the forum "parts for sale" and check some of those e-bay guys every now and then. You'll find it. You might even find one better than you had before.

I was going to get a new drivers side carpet because the sound absorber was missing... But, I just made my own sound absorber. There were several sellers that had lots of old MB carpet pieces a few months ago. Search enough and you will find it. The last place I would go is that link....

I was able to buy on eBay the whole carpet set for my SDL from World Upholstery for $77 once.
