Well, if I'm not dead in 5 months, I'm in.

This goes for my Mercedes, too.

I'll be in if work doesn't interfere (if I can find some ). Probably with the CDI this year . Whipping it around the curves on 504 should be great fun

July/August would be best for me too and it would be great to see you guys again. I need to get my injectors rebuilt though or I'll never make it there (Brian? )

I'd also personally opt for something not too mountainous as I don't have a turbo like most of the rest of y'all. Puget Sound or Northern Washington would of course be easier for me and the British Columbia folks but the Pacific beaches/SW Washington or NW Oregon would also be really nice in the summer.

US NA's can stick together, we'll get there and we'll look good doing it.

It is a nice drive up to the Johnston Ridge Observatory. I've been up there two or three times, but not for awhile. I remember the road was nice and smooth, and not excessively steep. The experience itself is visually pretty neat, with the juxtaposition of still devastated landscape and new vegetation. Overall, I think it's a great choice. It'd be fun to pay tribute to Mt. St. Helens by letting off our own, diesely, puff puff puffs of smoke.

Sounds like a plan. I've been hiking around J.R.O. a few times. I ride snomobiles there in the winter-at windy ridge, which is on the other side of the mountain, a 8 hour drive from Johnston Ridge to Windy Ridge.

Euro NA's

Welcome too? If so, I could make it on a Saturday, but have to work Sundays.

Jay.

This thread would be better served in a stick. Just for what it's worth, Brian.

Yankees...

don't rate? We're not all a bunch of hippies, either. Well, I guess I probably am, but I'm sure some of these other guys qualify as "normal". Can we get stickity-stuck, please?

Thanks,

Jay.

Thumbs up I'm in...

Other options might be:
1) North Cascades Highway
2) Chuckanut Dr. - Bellingham (That's where Loraina Bobbett moved)
2) A coastal run somewhere - I have a place in Westport.
3) A Columbia River Gorge run (Mary Hill Museum, multnomah Falls, Hood River)
4) Portland to Timberline Lodge and around the other side to Hood River and back is a goody.

I love Mt St Helens though! I watched it blow up from my Mom's house. 2 years later we climbed up and skied down (on May 18th of course).

I tried to have my Veggie oil poll stickied but the Mods said they would stick anything for more than 30 days. So they aren't likely to do it for 4 months. I think we need a date and then maybe a month out they'll sticky it for us.

Multnomah Falls would be cool too. We could take the Old Highway, and not 84 for a more senic route.

Bumpin'.

Guess we'll have to do it manually, then. I can handle that. I'm open to about anything. St. Helens is about halfway. I kinda' like that idea.

Jay.
