Where to stay?

Can anyone suggest a good town to stay in as a base of operations for this?

We'll likely drive to Redmond on the Friday, see some friends there, play around on Saturday, do the GTG on Sunday and head back home on Monday.....

Kelso and Longview are probably the closest towns that will have lodging.

Thumbs up 10-4 Rubber Duck "It looks like we've got us a CONVOY"

It sounds like we're going to have a nice turn out and there are quite a few people North of Tacoma! It would be nice to meet up at a central location, caravan down and pick up driver's along the way.

I see 2 from BC, 5 in the seattle area, 1 in Kent and 2 in Tacoma. Bluebird and BabyJames - well we don't know where they live but I'm sure they'll let us know. Then we can pick up Ian White in Chehalis on the way.

I like the idea of a tech session. I'm sure there is a lot of knowledge the older members can pass on to the newbies.
A good Q&A and a few beers sounds good to me.
Mine could is overdue for a valve adjustment - I just haven't had the time...

I'll gladly volunteer it for the demo!

I will definitely be present for this one. I just moved to Redmond, WA and was looking around on the forum for some others in my area. Sounds like a good opportunity.

Didn't we do yours last year?

By the way: if anybody ended up with an extra set of valve wrenches after the tech session last year they are probably mine...I haven't seen them since last year's event

Thanks Andrew for the link, they do look similar to the Bug. I`ve seen a lot of old MB but this is a new one for me.

Brian, we used my Hazet wrenches for Conclark`s car, don`t remember another car being worked on.
