Great DIY, this is why this forum is invaluable.
I could use a little help / clarity on final orientation and assembly of the valve once all o-rings are replaced. I've attached some photos on where I'm at. This is based on Andrew's write-up (page 1 of this thread), Douglas.Sherida's DIY, and the PeachParts DIY. How far in should the piston be recessed? And should the cam lay flush against the internal body of the valve, or does it float a bit? Will it all get pushed together once the two halves of the valve are re-assembled? Thanks! |
