Wink valentines day

Got the starter on, good plates, $32 of diesel and fluid top now up she rolls! And pulls real nice too.

I have a Valentine but she is out of town. So yesterday and today I have been spending lots of quality time with my 83 300D. I pulled seats and carpet up to find about $5 of change, a half a bag of trash, dead bugs, shattered glass, social security card and toys all from PO's.A shopvac, lysol, fine wire pet comb, toothbrush and a few hours later the interior is pretty good now.
Today I steam- pressurewashed the engine bay and exterior. Years of accumulation add up to be very stubborn. But now I feel like the car is appreciated again. Oh and the exhaust was shot so I picked a straight pipe off a doner car of my buddies and installed it too. Sounds good! And I swiped a better driver mirror, the old one had a weird haze that wouldn't come out.
Now I gotta figure out what to do with the PCV system because the engine is a Calif. w/0 the drain in upper oil pan and a regular breather box with the drain nipple. I some seen some posts about 240D and other oil/vapor seperator setups but gotta find parts. I am soon to sell my VW TDI now that I got a Benz again. True love....
