1 project at a time is no fun! We've had 4 going at once before! And we did successfully finish them all!

Make sure you have a well stocked fridge at arms length for them!

Actually, I had one for 6 years and drove it all over the country. It was the most reliable car I've ever owned, and the engine had over 300K miles on it when I had the head pulled and the clutch replaced. It needed two valves. Afterwards, the compression was high . . . so I don't know why the other gentleman's engine was so worn out. I'd still be driving that car, if not for a suburban, driven by a 15-yr old who crashed into it and bent the frame. I looked at all sorts of alternative vehicle bodies to put the drivetrain into, but nothing worked out. I was actually thinking of offering my 300D in exchange for that car. But doing the swap cross-country is just beyond my abilities right now. The best idea I heard was to put the drivetrain into a Chevy S10 pickup, but couldn't find one for sale while my interest was piqued.

Good luck on it . . . I would just hit the junk yards and scavenge up a new interior. and clean it up.

Good luck.

Torie
