From Shell's Website, it says they have a lighter diesel motor oil Rotela 10W-30. I went to Wal-Mart today and all they have is the 15W-40 stuff. I asked the lady if she can order some for me and she looked it up and told me that the 10W-30 was not on her order list.

Have anyone seen that viscosity?

In where I am, I would love to use a 10W-40 diesel oil. I am going to Pep Boys this weekend to see if they have more choices.

I can't say that I've seen a Rotalla multigrade in a 10W-30, and most certainly not at a retail chain store. Most retail chains only carry what is in popular demand across the nation. What's wrong with the 15W-40? I'd assume that if Shell does make a 10W-30 in a multigrade it would have to be gotten from a truck stop, and most likely not even a retail parts store either.

15W-40 might be a little too thick for the Michigan winter.

But I bought some Rotella 10w40 synthetic blend at a truck stop to use during the winter.
