Smile New member

This is my first post just register, I own a 1999 E300td bought 9 months ago and my very first mercedes it has 130K just replaced all the fuel tubings IP delivery valves o-ring & copper seal. that'sshould takecare of fuel leaks arouind the IP.My next project is to replace the serpentine belt but I am not quite sure were to begin, I will appreciatte if someone will show me the basic procedure.

Welcome aboard. Post the question over in Diesel Discussion for a good answer. Then, come back over here for a long discussion on the political, religious and sexual implications of a serpentine belt.

Serpentine belt? Apostate! Everyone knows the V-belt is the one true belt

Youre all wrong. True Benz's have multiple belts, neither serpentine nor V. Muiltiple belts is the one true faith!

welcome to the Diesel forum.
I'm not familiar with that engine, so others will surely chime in with an answer for you.
should be something like loosen tensioner and remove belt...
