Last time I did both at the same time. As you can see, I used a pair of vicegrips (with protection on the jaws) to help keep diesel from draining out of the lines.
I did the primary first, then the secondary (bit of a pain with the large vacuum line and upper radiator hose), but you can wiggle it out. When you do the secondary, make sure no o-rings are missing (compare with the one you just removed), swap the o-rings on the banjo bolt, get it mostly aligned, fill it I used a tube, tighten the bolt by hand and then snug with a wrench. The system is self bleeding, however you don't want to crank for too long at a time. I think I did 10-15 second intervals with a minute or two between. After the engine catches, you can loosen the the hard lines at the injectors (14 mm wrench will work for this). This will help get all the air out, but make a little bit of a mess. PS. You may get more responses in diesel discussion. Cheers
