Damn thing's sold :(

The car's sold before I could try it out.

Called today to arrange a test run. Gone.

221 kms - new timing chain, rad etc. Sold for $4900 Cdn within 3 days on a single entry in Craigslist.

Ah well, next time.

Looks like I will be tackling the rear window project in the 300SD.

And that's OK.
The W126 was the first of such cars designed specifically to withstand demanding forces of offset crashes.
