I posted this car in the CL thread weeks ago. He's asking $4500+. My guess is this car has problems. Looks like it's been repainted (who knows how well.)

I may swing by one day and check it out. I don't like the fact that they don't show the engine bay is somewhat suspect.

Later I saw the post where is said what he was asking..
I posted it mostly due to the inaccurate engine description...
surprised he did not mention it was ' ready ' for grease conversion...
and that they regularly go 1,000,000 miles without changing the oil..

Yep, it's been on CL for quite a while. Also, don't believe the "only 64K miles" since I don't believe there is a 6th digit on that model's speedo (please crucify me if I'm wrong :o). Way too much dinero, IMO

Right, only 5 digits on that odometer...I have a W115 with 'only 68k on it' too...of course, it's always had 68k displayed.

The car might be a gasser.

Do you think he put diesel in it?
