Hood hinges lock broken...
Both side of the hood opening lock are broken. Actually one side has a broken pin, the other side has a bent pin.
Is it possible to repair/replace the pins without taking the hood off?

It's a pretty common failure on these cars. I've never repaired one, other than replacing the whole hinge. I would venture that you could weld on another tab, but you might warp other parts of the hinge in the process.

You can replace the entire hinge, one side at a time without taking off the hood BUT you need someone to hold the hood so it doesn't hit the cowl area.
I replaced a hood hinge in my garage and used a shock cord hung from the ceiling to hold the hood.
