Well, it happened to me too...Injector Line Broken '93 300D
I had heard it would happen if I didn't use the plastic clips but I didn't replace the broken ones and now my number 5 injector line is cracked at the base.
Does anybody have a full set of injector lines they want to sell?

Ouch, talk about timing, right?
I just hastily replaced the broken line with a brand new dealer one ($80, ouch!). Clips are certainly cheaper than the lines!

This is true but my problem was also that I did a delivery valve R&R without removing the intake.
As a result I am sure I weakened the lines and bent them a bit out of shape. The clips probably wouldn't have saved me for my shortcut....

Thanks, I do too....
I will probably replace the clips as well or find another solution to absorb shock/vibration.
