bio in my 220d
i want to start useing bio in my 72 220d,i know about filters,but do i need to replace all fuel lines including those going to filter to ip from fuel tank and return to tank etc,is it ok on an older car like mine,no problem with seals in ip etc??

Assuming you fuel lines are rubber and not synthetic already, you will at some point down the road need to replace the lines. Depending on the condition of the fuel lines you may need to change them soon or you may not have to for a couple years. There are no seals in your IP to worry about as far as biodiesel is concerned.
Also keep away from high blends of biodiesel in the cold months. It will gel up and keep you from starting the car.

I doubt the IP seals are bio proof, any rubber seal is at risk.

I don't doubt that deterioration of lines could be a problem. However I have used bio in a couple of '83 MBs and a couple of 90's era Fords without changing lines and have experienced no problems yet (total of 60K miles) on bio

I would simply look at the Hoses. If it looks like they have been there a long time I would change them.
The Fuel Injection Hose sold at the regular Auto Parts places is around $3 per foot and is liked with a what members have said is Viton. There is a thread on that somewhere.
