How to break your bowden cable
 

All those brittle plastic parts... The black plastic thing is supposed to hook onto that metal rod sticking out the top... obviously it can't hook anymore.

Don't get me started on that weird system of yellow plastic tabs... now that I think about it, if you bend them in a certain way it right it should just slip out. I was trying not to break them though, but lo and behold there was another plastic part hiding inside.
