russian vin site
ive been searching russian site info for my 72 220 ,on my reg vin is 11511010231413 i think im missing some letters,i dont have car here at work,are there any standard letters to go in vin sequence?trying to find paint code,plate on car is hard to read

I think the russian VIN site only works on the new cars. You can always send you VIN to the MB Classic Center and they will give you the same info. It's free too.

I'm pretty sure the vin decoder only works on cars that are newer than 1980.
Mail off your vin to the classic car center. My vin for my 85 doesn't work right in the russian decoder so I emailed the classic car center and got a response with the options list.

You can also stop by any MB dealer and ask the service or parts dept. to run a VMI (Vehicle Master Inquiry). It's the same info and free.
