99 E300TD A/C Problem
A/C blows cold air for a little while then begins to blow warm air.
Shut off engine, wait a minute, restart engine, A/C blows cold for a little while then blows warm air. Happens everytime. Compressor is engaged when blowing cold, not engaged when blowing warm. Speed sensor problem? 208benz 99 E300TD 95 E300D 83 300SD |

I did some research and found out how to read climate control sensors and errors.
I think I have a faulty evaporator temp sensor. It is reading 143 deg F with ambient at 64 deg F. Seems too high. Has anyone changed this? |
It's an easy job. You have to remove the bottom cover on the driver's side (LHD).

Replaced evaporator temp sensor...problem solved

Excellent! It's a good feeling.
