Looking to buy SLS pump

Is any one wanting to sell an SLS pump that would work for my 1984 Mercedes 300td. It looks like several years and models will work
560 SEL, 560 SEC 86-91
300TD 79-80
300 TD Turbo Wagon 81-85
190E 2.3 16-Valve 86-87

Thanks in advance,
Kevin

How would one arrange the 617 which the pump was taken off of if it was still going to be used ?
This is probably not directed towards the OP.. anyone studied this ?
Can it just be blocked off ... I think I remember RLeo saying that is not proper...
How much would a good one be worth ?

I would look into determining if one of the later ones that are piggybacked on the power steering pump could be used, since they were used on both gas and diesel wagons until about 95 i think they would be much easier to find. Don

I have one from a 79 wagon...
Just trying to figure out if that will disable the engine for all practical purposes.

ForcedInduction just blocked off the hole with a plate and ran it. No problem with that as far as I know. New ones run $1100 or so I think so a used one could be worth some pretty serious cash.

This was a low mileage car which was hit while parked.
Is there some way to test one without being able to start the engine ?

A very nice forum member sold me one for $50 bucks a few years ago. Used ones aren't that high. {at least from super nice forum members}
I sen't one to somebody to use so they could seal theirs and then send it back to me, but I forgot who that was! Ha! Not worried though.
Still waiting on Andrew {our new forum SLS guru} to find a replacement seal for the two halves so I can reseal my other one....

Tandem pumps are pretty different than the I5 or V8 cars he is looking to use a pump from...

Jimmy got me a good used one for my 560, I think I traded him something for it.
