is the smoke at idle, only when cold, or all the time?
heavy or light.
you could be needing injectors, or you could have a small air leak.
any trouble starting it?
any roughness on first start?
you could have a worn timing chain, or just a tad out of time for injection...

i only noticed it today, I moved the car off the driveway to clean the driveway. I started it and got distracted talking to an HOA represenitive and I noticed the Diesel smell and looked and noticed the light smoke. It's not heavy. the injectors are new less then 5K on them, no trouble starting, not rough, not anything like I've had trouble before.

White smoke is either Coolant (steam) or unburned Diesel Fuel (you are seeing the atomized droplets). More likely undburned Diesel Fuel.

When I had that issue is was after I installed the Fuel Injection Pump on the Volvo. I got billowly White clouds of smoke. It was due to the timing being too retarded/late.
Advancing the timing took care of it.

I would look into cauese of retarded/late timing like Timing Chain being stretched and the Fuel Injection Pump Timing.

I'll look into it, i dont know when the chain was replaced on this car. I highly doubt that it's original, if not it's got over 300,000 miles on it...

Might have been condensation if very early in the day. Check again when temperatures are higher. You probably do not check your exhaust output very often.

With over three hundred K on the clock and no knowledge of when the timing was last checked. The suggestion to check it is also valid.

Temps were mid 60's. Never noticed this much Visitable Gasses. I'll have the chain looked.
