If your ride is bouncy you may need new shocks. I always liked to limit my speed in a 240d to 72 mph. Above that it just seemed to be running a bit too fast to me.

Your car looks like a 6.9 with the low stance, haha. I have a 1968 200D and 75 MPH is about the maximum "comfortable" speed. It can do 80 MPH, but I don't like to push it. The top speed for my car is supposed to be 83 MPH. Your car weighs more than my 200D, though. My 200D is about 1,000 lbs lighter than my 1980 W116 300SD.

thanks again guys for all the comments. she has been doing great. yeah im from colorado...... grand junction,co to be exact. no i haven't noticed any uneven tire wear as of yet.
