Yeah, I noticed the same thing. It only works with the key off. Hopefully, one has a good strong battery if used for a while

It doesn't work with the key in, key in = somebody (should) be behind the wheel who can operate the regular parking lights. If you have a gp. 49 battery the one side parking lights can stay on all night in a cold winter with no problems.

Your fuse box list under the cover will tell you which side.

My 190SL only had one click to the left.
Left/right function was controlled by a chrome plated toggle switch on the dash.

The bulbs for the all night lights were also separate from the running bulbs, much smaller, lower wattage.

Anybody notice that the license plate lights don't light up when the left/right lights are selected?

Jim

When I did IQ678's fog light mod I tapped into my passenger side city light, so now when I have the passenger side standing lights on and I pull my knob out my fogs light up... Just like my dads GenII w126, and our old E320.
