Help please, Glove-box door, latch and catch repair ??

I am too busy.
Trying to finish and post this since 9:00 AM.
Could some of you answer these three customers..

The issues are:

* Glove-box catch on a 1983 300D, he thinks it is damaged, (some pictures of good/bad would help), it keeps dropping open.

* Glove-box latch broken 1982 300TD, she thinks it is damaged, has a spare door with bad wood, (fears damage getting them open for part swap).

* Glove-box door, claw of hammer used to extract registration for the nice officer, 1978 300CD W123.153, bought a replacement at a swap meet.

This may help, will take a couple of posts.
I purchased a kit about glove box repair, here is the pertinent info and a pic of the included tool to help get the knob off.

The metal catch over time wears out, making the swiveling lock mechanism loose (or let it drop completely). Also, the metal catch wears out in such a way as to let the glove box door lean out slightly (giving it a slightly open appearance).

One solution to this, that I've seen, is to find the smallest zip ties and wrap two into the peg of the metal catch. This allowed the door to sit flush with the dash. The tiny zip ties are enough to act as a "shim" to push the swiveling lock mechanism further inward.

That is the contribution I can give for the first problem.
