82SD anybody got any tips for fixing a fixed B2?

yeah, I've replaced the B2, and it worked well for a few months, but it's out again, any tips?

As you are aware this is not really a roadside fix. Speaking just for myself I do not know any simple way around this problem.

Hope you are not far from home. You do have reverse so the driveline itself is intact?

John,
I hope you got your car going or home without too much trouble!!
Some one (maybe you) was asking the other day about a B2 problem. I suggested that there may be a problem with the band & how the B2 operates it.
Best Wishes.

Did you replace the bushing as well as the piston? I would have the car towed....

thanks all, i had it towed to my shop, and started working on my 82... fun fun fun. i drove it out, and i'm back in a running benz.
I would love to know if there is a procedure for repairing a b2 that had a complete kit installed in it. piston, seals, and sleve all upgraded. but the case was quite worn from the 180k put on it with the steel sleeve...
thanks again, i'll keep checking here for suggestions.

I'm planning on getting back into this car soon, and would love pointers on what to look at to see if any adjustment can be done to improve the B2 function...
