78 240d manual trans prob.
1978 manual 240d. Can't keep the clutch bled. I bleed it them the next day there is no resistance in the clutch pedal exept for the spring on the pedal itself. There is so much oil under there that I can 't tell if its the clutch fluid orwhat. Is there a way to diagnose this problem without pulling the trans??

Are you having to refill the master cylinder all the time? Its not leaking if you dont have to top it up!!!
Oil every where~ take it to the car wash & clean it!!

Check the rear compartment in the brake MC, it supplies the clutch .
It is sometimes hard to see if the MC is dirty.
