I need to turn my engine a little and I would like to do it using the crank bolt. Does anyone know what size socket it takes? It is too much of a tight spot for me to want to keep trying different sizes.

If you can't find a 27mm, a 1 -1/16 inch socket works fine.

Yes, or a 1 1/16 inch SAE.
