Great...now tranny fluid drool...

I posted a WTB in the parts section...

I need the passenger side tranny fluid line that runs from the radiator to the tranny.

Mine has developed a leak from rubbing in the carrier that is bolted with the engine oil pan bolts at the front on the engine. Right now it's just a drip.

I do not have access to a torch, or I would go ahead and braze it.

Any other ideas for repair? I alsoi need to get a new or good used carrier and bushing. The ones on my car appear to have been squeezed down by the PO.

Thanks!

wrap affected area in rubber, affix it with a hose clamp or two.

move the carrier to another bolt on the oil pan and wrap the line in rubber before installing it in the carrier again

ps.. theres supposed to be rubber in there.

I looked at the carrier, it looks to creased so bad that if I bend it to accomodate rubber it will break.

I read the hose and clamp trick. That looks to be more of a temporary fix.

definitely temporary at best.

as for the carrier... any piece of sheet metal with 2 holes drilled in it will do. Or pipe strap that plumbers use, perhaps?

easy thing to get from a JY.. I must have one somewhere if you have no luck
