300D removing exterior trim question
I'm parting out a 300D and I want to transfer some of the exterior trim pieces. It seems easy enough, but I don't want to start taking trim pieces off and end up breaking or bending them.
What is the best way to get the trim off? EDIT: The trim pieces I'm needing to remove are the ones that go along the side of the car. Last edited by sonofword; 04-22-2010 at 05:26 PM.

might help to describe which trim pieces you're trying to get.
Many come off in different ways. The DIY links under "Resources" up top will be a great, uh, resource.

The side pieces just pop off. The curved one at the rear has a nut in the trunk. Just pry them off carefully, and remember to have fun.

They really come off quite easy with using a wide blade gasket scraper or a wide screw driver. Often the red plastic mounts, (called berries) pop out also. You need new berries to install the used trim. The berries pop in easy if warm, very difficult if cold.
