Applying Sunroof Grease
Yes, I have MB brand sunroof grease. And yes, I know that the trick is to apply the thinnest imagineable amount. But no matter how hard I try, after a few weeks the rails are sticky and have attracted dirt.
What I do is clean the rails with alcohol on a paper towel...I get it perfectly clean. Then I apply a very thin coat of grease with my finger. If I used any less, I don't think I'd have complete coverage. I know I must be doing something wrong. Can anyone help?

Yes. Pretend that you don't have a sunroof. Keep a/c working properly.

Did you read the FSM procedure for sunroof clean and grease? Its pretty involved. Maybe try following it? Here it is
