Frau is a jealous car - Wives vs. Benz's

SOOO...my wife takes the car to Charlotte with a complete set of front lights. When she comes back, the left turn signal light is missing. Soooo, I questioned her about what happened to the precious. She shrugged her shoulders, as she had no idea. My daughter chimes in and said, "Oh that must have been that piece of trash I heard us run over going down I-85!"
Somehow, it 'magically' broke and fell out. Stolen you say? I can't imagine what a MB light is selling for on the streets these days - no scrapes or dents, though. So I set off to find a new marker light. Should be here any day. Anyone else have something like this happen to them?

They are only held in place with one thumb screw...it's possible it got loose over time and just fell off...

It has happened to my dad. He had the passenger one fall off his 300SD a couple years ago. Thumb screw was laying down inside, it was stripped out.

Heck, sometimes I can't pry the electrical connector apart to save my life. Funny one would just come loose, but I guess the wind drag may have pulled it apart....
