'95 E300 High Idle
So today I replace my radiator, which actually turned out to be a really easy job. However, since I had to disconnect the ATF cooler lines and I saw that the fluid was looking a little crappy, I decided to do a tranny fluid and filter change. Draining the ATF and changing the filter turned out to more of a PITA than the radiatior job.
Anyway, after completing these jobs I took the car for a drive and now I have a high idle. I think my idle used to be around 700 and now it is up around 1100 RPMs in Park. What gives? Is there some reason either of these jobs would result in a higher idle? Or is something else going on. Tomorrow I will check the linkage out, but just wondering if anyone has any thoughts. Thanks.
