Sounds like a cpmbination of the Primer Pump and the dirty Racor filter.
West Marine is a good place for the replacement filter. they have 2 micron, 10 micron and I believe a 15. I use the 2 Micron on the 240D abd the Datsun PU.

NAPA can also get them. sounds like you are well coveed with the filters.

It's actually called a "booster" pump. It just assists getting fuel from the tank up to the engine compartment.

I started to rig this car for Biodiesel and WVO (had some good friends in Tucson who were refining biodiesel and I got interested). First step was replacing hoses, then adding the booster pump, then onto heaters (single tank system).

Got it almost toatlly together, then learned how hard WVO is to collect, filter, store and dispense - so I dropped the whole idea. Now I live in Northern, VA and really don't have an interest in WVO anymore. Am going to remove the heater assembly and sell on this forum (maybe trade - who knows).

To this day I've never ran WVO thru my car - I have had a few tank-fulls of B99 and liked how quite the engine ran. But that's it.
