Hi! How can you test bad glow plugs? Thanks in advance!

Put an ohmeter on low range from the post to the body. A couple of ohms indicates good glow plug. Infinite resistance indicates bad glow plug. They are like light bulbs...either they're good or bad...no in between

DieselGiant.com has a pictorial/write up for checking the W123 GP's and relay for the electrically impaired. Is the same principals for ours only the relay is built differently.

My last bad glow plug tested at 16 ohms, and I have seen other failed glow plugs with similar resistance. A good plug on the 606 should test at about 1.5 ohms. Not all failure modes give the infinite resistance of an open circuit.
