Oil Filler Cap and Rack Dampner. No connection

I finally got tired of wiping oil from the weepy MB oil cap.
This one is easy to open and close and will never leak.

NEW TOPIC
I removed the Rack Damper only to find there was no spring in sight, this is bad I thought, then I discovered the spring is inside and pushed out to move the projecting tip.
After cleaning the threads so it would spin in my fingers I reinstalled with the engine hot, turned it in till I felt a little pressure. Then gave it one turn and the engine stopped rocking side to side. Reset the idle to a very smooth 750 RPM. Now when I shift into drive and turn on the AC the RPM is glued to 750, I originally suspected a frozen governor. See me smile!

In my experience, that problem can be quickly and simply solved with a new filler cap gasket.

Concerning the Rack Damper; I was not so lucky. I bought a new gold one (as pictured) and it did not help much.
After a Valve Adjustment, Injectors rebuilt and 3 mounts changed the Rack Damper was finally able to remove that last bit of unresonable shaking. Other more minor things that helped were adjusting the Idle speed correctly and fixing small Air leak due to hard Fue Ilet Hoses.
I concluded that the Rack Damper was not made to compensate for all of the out of spec issues that I had.

Clearly the Oil Filler Cap looks great; that alone is enough to get some members interest. If it works as good as it looks even better.

Hi Tangofox. The gaskets I used on the two caps I made were leaking in their original MB caps but don't leak here.
Also there is very little pressure applied in the closing system.

Hahahaha!

Clearly Op was referring to the unit "tomorrow" that a husband uses as an answer to his wife's request to do something.
