I did go drive it yesterday - it has a good body, and the owner had the pneumatic rear susp recently serviced, and also had new front brakes put on. Air blows cold (R134 conversion). Owner says the half shafts and boots are recent. I looked underneath, they're certainly not terribly old. The car was undercoated and I saw no evidence of major accident damage.

However, it's going to need some front end work. Trans shifts hard and leaks a little bit. Probably needs engine mounts, idles rough until it's warmed up. Starts up well with no undue smoke though. Cracked windshield. The oil gauge leaked out oil into the gauge cluster at some point. Oh yeah, he used to tow a rather large 26 foot sailboat with it(!)

The car needs to be seriously steam cleaned on the inside - the beige carpet is kind of brownish-black and it smells like oil.

This could be a good wagon for some with a little time and money - everything seems fixable (not sure about trans) and I'd say it has "good bones".
