Welcome to the club!
It was nice seeing that you can still hit that speed too!

My 300SDL just hit 342k!

I really need to go get the badge ASAP...

How many engines and transmissions did it take to get there?

On my 617.950, I set my cruise control at 100mph for those long trips. Been driving it like this ever since the overhaul...33,000 miles thus far and nothing but smoke...Robert

Original engine and transmission. Has much more that 90 mph in her. Timing chain and vac pump were done 70k ago by the PO but i have thought about doing them again myself just for piece of mind.

My SD got to 305K (when I sold it) original timing chain, orig. turbo, orig. engine, orig. transmission, (I serviced it every 50K miles) two water pump replacements, two alternator replacements, two battery replacements, two A/C compressor replacements, and one replacement set of glow plugs - it didn't need all 5 changed - I did it because they were easy and cheap. Great car that '83 SD! Loved it.....

To be clear that was on the F250 7.3, my 300D '603 has 174k on it.

3 transmissions suddenly makes a lot more sense.
