Mercedes part number for blue clips/moulding?
door molding trim fell off in my hands. the plastic pins that attach to the red clips are broken off. is there any way of replacing the sliding pins within the moulding piece itself? or, do I need to purchase a new molding trim strip? also, read something about blue clips that old the trim onto the body better. anyone have a mercedes part number for the blue clips? thanks!
BTW, this is for a 1984 300DT |
any one know the part number for the blue color molding trim attachment clips?

I think the only way to replace the nubs on the trim would be to remove the rubber end piece. But I'm not sure you could get it back on.
You can alway hit up a junkyard for another piece of trim rather than buying a new one. |
thanks, have managed to locate another trim piece......I think you are right, I don't think it is possible to take the end pieces off and replace the nubs. oh well, another piece for the scrap yard.
