Amsoil Transmission Fluid

Thinking of changing transmission fluid and using Amsoil's Universal Synthetic.
Is this a transmission oil appropriate for the 85 300 TD California emissions model? Maybe Mobil 1?

I don't like synthetics in a transmission. In fact, I have never used anything but Type F in the older 722's because it has a higher coefficient of friction.

Keep in mind that most late fluids have a 'slip' agent for smoother torque converter clutch application.

Not needed or beneficial in an older unit...Robert

In one car I'm using it with no problems, but it's only been 3k miles. Being a dealer, I figure I should use the products I'm selling. In my other car, Mobil 1 has been in there for 30k miles with no problems.
