Harbor Freight Soda Blaster? Anyone Purchase/Using?
Thinking about buying the 15lb Harbor Freight Soda Blasting Unit and was curious if any members have purchased this and are using it? Impressions/results? Thanks!

I haven't but I think soda blasting is better on your car than sand blasting. I'm thinking on doing this on mine eventually to get rid of the cheap paint job my poor car has right now.
|
Yes, soda blasting is better, although I don't think it strip rust (for us northerners). This should probably be in body work, by the way.

I thought Soda was a typo. I will have to check out that type of blasting to learn more about it.

these guys are local here in UT, but I'm sure there are plenty of places in CA who do this. |

I am really just curious about performance for this mini blaster as I would use it to clean up various parts after degreasing, etc -

We use a soda blaster, not this one, to clean an anilox roller. It is used to apply coating to paper ad has micorscopic honeycombs that get plugged with coating. They are very delicate and the caoting is a hard it cleans without damaging a $10,000 roller.
