Primer pump, fuel filters, transmission mount, chase an oil leak, make valve adjustment wrenches, fix one window's sliding guide jaw...

not to mention replace bridge on Mateo telecaster knock-off with allparts stock tele bridge, restring, fix ipod car charger, build some cables for the studio, continue cutting shelves for stand-alone guitar rack closet, clean apartment, start packing.

clean up my garage from the mess i made over the last few weeks working on the new engine for the SD. Then pull the engine from the SD, pressure wash it so it doesn't leave its carbon footprint on my garage floor.

I'll also be assembling a 1948 GMC 228ci engine with a co-worker on sunday.

Not R&R W124 automatic trans for the 4th time. Got it right on the 3rd effort last week. Operator error with the control pressure cable linkage makes a new trans shift rather strangely. Benz activity will be limited to washing one.

I must admit, I truly love the idea of the intercooler being one with the intake.

If I had the tools to weld Aluminum I would attempt making an intake like that!

Rust rust rust.

I was going to order my parts for my oil cooler line job, but the hooligans in pay roll didn't direct deposit my work for the past two weeks .

The worst part is i'm 300 miles over due for an oil change and I'm going back to Ithaca next weekend

Inspect wagon wandering and wagging tail on highway. Hopefully order some parts. Ispect suspension on sedan too. Check self leveling system on wagon. Try out canoe on its roof rack Sunday. Test viscous fan clutch and put on used one from a m103 I got from pap (pull a part).

Taking out of the garage - exercising, washing, (inside & out) and polishing the '99 E300TD when I get off this road trip. All maintenance is up-to-date.

However the coach will need a good exterior spiffing-up with all the road grime and bugs though.........sheesh! It's maintenance schedule is up-to-date as well.

Replacing master cylinder in the 240D, probably will turn into a full brake fluid flush by the time I'm done. Ha, I'm supposed to do that every other year anyway. Partway through an oil change (oil drained). Might get as far as replacing fluids in transmission and differential, but the wife has designs on my time: rip all the weeds out of backyard and re-carpet with cedar chips (again!). I just hope this isn't the weekend we pull up the entire patio and replace sand filler with mortar.

Front suspension damper struts on my 201. The Bilsteins have been sitting in my garage for 6 months now...

Next Thursday: alignment at the Line-Up Shop.
