Auxillary Pump

Can anyone point me to a DIY (or at least pictures) of the aux water pump and which line to splice into to put in a fuse? I've read a lot of the issues and possible fire hazard with the pump and want to fuse mine. Car is an 83 300D

I've looked through a LOT of the search material on this, but I have yet to find a good DIY or pictoral.

Many thanks,

Glenn

Either wire can be fused, but the brown one is the ground. It's better to put the fuse on the positive side, even though the current is the same on both sides.

Great info.....Thanks.

Last question, where exactly are the wires/pump located? Under the air cleaner, right side, left side of motor?????

Thanks
