Hehe

You guys will get a kick out of this.. This is coming from the new owner of my 83 300D.. I am in constant contact with him, he's driven it all over the country already, but this is pretty impressive.

And I took this one in my 300SDL on I-290 in Mass. this weekend.

I'm just REAL glad I wasn't in the same state you were in when you were looking down to fiddle with your camera and taking photos of your speedo at 100mph....

I saw a warning light on.

Is that the over-speed warning light?

Proof that a 123 can reach far beyond its slated 105 mph top end. Must have been the wind! She looks to have had more too!

The Apollo Program Is Back!

I believe that warning light is "Main Bus B Undervolt"!

The speedo and the tach don't seem to jive. Seems like the speedo is way fast.

Well I think your really UNLUCKY not to have such a great driver, such as myself, in the same state as you. BTW I set my camera going 75-80 then crank her up to 95 and snap a pic. No fiddiling at 95.

Does that 300D have a stock rearend ratio?....those revs don't seem high enough for that speed......that guy must have had a HUGE tailwind
