Oil pressure gauge line bleeding necessary?
If one were to replace the tubing to the oil pressure gauge in a 300D (W123, OM617), is it necessary to bleed the air from the new tubing by, for example, cranking the engine? I'm concerned that air in the new tubing will make the gauge read wrong.

No bleeding necessary.
The pressure will be the same on both ends, whether air bubbles or oil.
