603 ALDA adjust oops

I recant my earlier claim that "the 602/603 ALDA cannot be over-adjusted".

I have gone with the 1-1/2 turn CCW on 3 cars, changed them from lame to spunky.

Tonight I popped the cap on Belle, decided that if 1-1/2 turns was good, ...

Anyway, 2 turns CCW took it from lame to leaving a 40' black cloud as the turbo spools up, not the intended result. I guess I'll be turning it back in a half turn or so.

My bad.

Another turn and I think it'll spew raw fuel, ... THAT's the Batmobile setting (or 007).

with the alda busted, he gets zero fuel enrichment... until he removes it... hehehe

I thought the precharged gas in the capsule leaked out when you broke the screw?

##edit - I thought he broke it. nevermind.

I'll ask the EPA to follow me and photograph, ...

Perhaps I'll wait to re-adjust until I get a pic.

Just control the smoke with the best system ever designed - your eye and foot. I took the ALDA off the SDL and it runs so much better.
I usually - 90% of the time can go from a standing start and not blow smoke, but it is nice to know you can put your foot in it and GO! Also the 007 setting works when somebody it tailgating you!

I'll probably take mine off one day just to see what shenanigans I get into but I am lazy in the 300D, it's my don't think about it daily. It's an auto and it gets good mpg, I don't want to put much thought into driving it haha.

Pretty simple adjustment procedure, takes around 20minutes to get the cap off and adjust it. Now that the cap is off, more like 5minutes.
