Heater core broken..

My 83 300d sedan has a broken heater core, while i do not know how to replace it i am wandering if i can plug hoses going to and coming from the core.
Does anyone have a diagram or better yet a picture of which hoses to plug?
Will this make my car run hotter, i am in hot climate and do not need a heater at all.
thanks

You can loop the hose back near the firewall. It should not make the car any hotter as that would be similar to not calling for heat. It happened to me once on a different car.
