2 year anniversary of buying the 240D

After giving up on my Audi 5000s diesel a few years back, I decided to try a W123. I purchased this car about 50 miles from home off craigslist with burnt trans, still was able to limp it home. Installed a used trans and one axle shaft, last week I finally replaced the a/c hose off the compressor and now have cold air. I drive the car 97 miles a day, plus more if I have parts running to do. I have taken one long trip with it and is also my weekend run around car. Someday I still need to get door locks working and trans shifting correctly. Just thought I could show it off a little since its been 2 great years.

It looks quite nice! Sounds like you got into it inexpensively too. Looks just like mine except mine has the painted wheel covers.

You'll be happy with your MB diesel. They are very reliable cars. Where abouts are you in Oregon? There are a lot of members here in Oregon. With the name of quackattak, you must be a Duck.

Also make sure you check out the info on the PNW Get Together in July. - Pacific Northwest GTG..............July 17, 2010

I'm over by hermiston, I've had the car in albany before visiting family. I am a duck fan, most my family has gone to UO. I never had time to attend, to busy tinkering with old cars.
